Anchorage Inn is always trying to improve our commitment to the Green Initiative for Sustainable Tourism. This is encouraged by the owners of the hotel and taken up by all our staff to constantly tweak existing projects such as solar water heating and initiate new ones. This includes the use of LED energy saving light bulbs, and looking at energy efficient air conditioner units and solar energy production. To this end we are always responding to fact finding meetings with Government representatives fully supporting this important mission. Our positive environment policy includes working with the local recycling waste disposal company, and buying fresh local organic produce for our delicious breakfasts,making that commitment to preserving and sustaining our beautiful property and island.
