The Anchorage Inn is always trying to improve our commitment to the Green Initiative for Sustainable Tourism. This is encouraged by the owners of the hotel and taken up by all our staff, to constantly tweak existing eco-conscious projects such as solar water heating and to initiate new environmentally friendly concepts. These green initiatives include the use of LED energy-saving light bulbs, researching energy-efficient air conditioner units and experimenting with solar energy production. To this end, we are always responding to fact-finding meetings with Government representatives who fully support this important mission. Our positive environment policy includes working with the local recycling waste disposal company and buying fresh local organic produce for our delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner meal options.
